I know it’s popular to get on the “affordable housing” wagon but I hope that doesn’t impede any plans for the hospital property. Remember supply and demand. If fifty to seventy housing units are built, no matter what the cost, it should free up many options for housing in town.
I find it very disappointing that a city the size of Marquette, intent on drawing in tourists, isn’t able to find an area for a dog park.
Each year we travel by car throughout the country and the dog parks visible everywhere put Marquette to shame. Not that many years ago we could actually have our dog off leash in the woods without getting a ticket!

From my perspective, another reason for youth suicide is the pressure of social media.
