If paying students to keep them in class works, pay them. If children stop going to school there will be a bigger cost with unemployment, substance use, criminal activity and this goes for any school in any location. The longer we can keep children in school the better their chances are as adults. Never give up.

I am surprised that people are shocked that socializing is down and that people are not eating out as frequently as they once did. Everything is too costly. There is a resturant in town that charged $20.00 for a glass of wine. I kid you not. I verified this twice. A hamburger, french fries and a coke can run $20.00. Not at all restaurants but at many. Many have decided that they are going to either eat at home or eat out; but they can't do both. Socializing is down b/c people are too plugged into their cellphones or computers to talk to anyone. So I ask you: why is anyone surprised at this.
